Therapy and Counseling Services

I provide evidence-based, relationship-focused therapy for children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Treatment is individualized to the child’s developmental level, concerns, and family context, with parent involvement incorporated when it can support progress outside of sessions.
Child Therapy
Therapy with children looks different from therapy with adults. Children may not always have the words to explain what they are experiencing, and meaningful change often requires understanding the child within the context of family, school, development, and relationships.
I work with children experiencing concerns such as anxiety, emotional or behavioral regulation difficulties, ADHD-related challenges, mood concerns, stressful experiences, and difficulties at home or school.
Treatment is tailored to the child’s developmental level and needs, with parents involved when their participation can help support progress outside of sessions.
Adolescent Therapy
Adolescence brings increasing independence along with new academic, social, emotional, and family demands. Therapy can provide teenagers with a confidential and supportive place to better understand what they are experiencing and develop more effective ways of coping.
I work collaboratively with adolescents while maintaining appropriate communication and partnership with parents. The balance between adolescent privacy and parent involvement is individualized based on age, developmental level, clinical needs, and safety.

Family Therapy & Support
Sometimes the most effective way to help a child is to work with the family together.
Family-based work can help improve communication, reduce conflict, strengthen relationships, clarify expectations, and help family members develop more effective ways of responding to difficult situations.
Family sessions may be the primary focus of treatment or may be incorporated into a child or adolescent’s individual therapy when appropriate.

Parent Coaching
Parents often know their child better than anyone—and can still feel unsure about what to do when familiar parenting strategies are no longer working.
Parent coaching provides focused support around specific concerns such as behavior, emotional regulation, anxiety, routines, communication, family conflict, or responding effectively to a child’s developmental or mental health needs.
The emphasis is practical: understanding what may be driving a child’s behavior, identifying strategies that fit the family, and helping parents respond with greater clarity and consistency.
