About Dr. Ryan

I’m Dr. Ryan Lloyd, a pediatric psychologist based in Vancouver, Washington, and licensed in Washington, Oregon, and California. I provide psychological assessment, therapy, and consultation for children, adolescents, young adults, and families, with an emphasis on evidence-based care that is practical, collaborative, and individualized to each client and family.

I have worked as a psychologist since 2009 across a variety of clinical settings. I began my career supporting Naval Special Warfare in Coronado, California, where I provided psychological services to SEAL, SWCC, and EOD teams and their families. That experience shaped the way I think about resilience, family systems, and providing effective care in demanding real-world environments.

After returning to the Pacific Northwest, I joined a pediatric medical group in Vancouver and helped develop an integrated behavioral health program. Working closely with pediatricians, nurses, medical assistants, and social workers reinforced something that continues to guide my work today: children do best when the adults and professionals supporting them communicate and work together.

Throughout my career, psychological assessment has been a major area of my practice. I also have extensive training in evidence-based therapies for children and families and experience providing consultation around a wide range of behavioral, emotional, developmental, and family concerns.

Outside of work, I’m a husband and father of three. I volunteer my time as a baseball coach and help direct a local, non-profit preschool. Our family enjoys movies, building LEGO, sports, exploring the Pacific Northwest, riding bikes, and spending time together.
